Sustainable development is reflected in appropriate environmental protection. That is why Marina Punat has given special attention to environmental protection as one of its core business principles. We implement controlled supervision over technological processes which could threaten the environment and try to prevent any pollution from occurring. Particular care is given to the sea; every three months at the request of the marina, the competent institute carries out seabed, middle layer and sea surface quality testing.  
 
Our services use environmentally neutral agents, “ecological” as we like to call them, with valid certificates proving that. This rule is also applied when using paint, salt and sun protection coatings.  
Conventional detergents are not biodegradable, their foam hinders the photosynthesis process as well as the exchange of water gases, and still contain a large amount of phosphate which stimulates rapid phytoplankton growth and enhances the pollution of the sea.

In cooperation with the Tourist Association, we have been participating in cleaning the Punat Bay for years. Each spring, members of both local and diving clubs from all around Croatia meet in Punat. One weekend in May is reserved for slightly different underwater activities. With the support of organizers and the local economy, diving teams clean section after section of the Punat Bay so that the sea can breathe freely once again.
Many volunteers always participate in the action: elementary school students, fishermen, excursion boat owners, marina and shipyard employees…
The fact that less and less litter is collected every year is very gratifying, leaving more time for various educational subjects presented by the organizers at the TOŠ Gallery.
 
In addition, our divers additionally clean the seabed in the marina and service sea surface.  
We would like to use this opportunity to appeal to you to use eco-waste sorting points. Also, don’t forget to move unnecessary items from the deck which may accidently end up in the sea and become litter.
The sea will thank you for it.

The first warm spring days after the rain remind us of the peculiar scent and taste of young, wild asparagus. Their slightly bitter taste matches various sauces and meat dishes perfectly, and the classical island dish is the indispensable fritaja – scrambled eggs, with asparagus and prosciutto.
Additionally, we offer you a rich creamy asparagus soup, šurlice with asparagus and hard sheep cheese, šurlice with asparagus and prawns, rib eye steak tagliata with asparagus and roasted potatoes, fish fillet with prawns, asparagus and boiled potatoes.
For dessert, we have sweet šurlice with coconut and white chocolate.

Visit the restaurant Marina during April when dishes with šurlice and asparagus are waiting for you at promotional prices.

 

Beginning of next year our representatives will again present our marina at the boat show in Düsseldorf.
You can also visit us at the boat show in Stuttgart, during the second weekend which will emphasize seafaring – Kreuzfahrt-Schiffsreisen.
Tulln boat show in Austria is also very important to us, we are always happy to be present.

Not too far from the marina, there is a great place for barbecuing. Our grill house is equipped with running water, tables and benches, sun umbrellas, a good cooking grate as well as a fire extinguisher. You can use it on a daily basis but please notify the marina reception in advance. 

We have installed ­five new poles with antennas in order to provide even better WLAN service and the signal has been strengthened. You will also notice new frequency for devices that support 5G network. Just  bring  your  smartphone  or  notebook  and  always  be  online. The internet network of the marina is very wide and the signal is suficient for download of usual data quantities, i.e.  checking  e-mail,  news,  internet  surfing.

 

30 additional new luggage carts are now at your disposal for easier transfer of luggage to the vessel.
Luggage carts are deployed at ten locations in the marina, so please return them to one of the marked places after using. In that way other guests can also easily and quickly transfer their belongings to the boat. Location overview  you can find on the marina map.
